What gives Darkwing its character is the way the finish changes the proportions of the SG 553. Black carries the first read, while Purple gives the surface its structure. The result is a graphic surface treatment that feels intentional on this silhouette rather than pasted across it.

VISUAL ANCHOR
Across the front assembly, Black establishes the strongest read of Darkwing. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the SG 553 gains its visual anchor.
SECONDARY LAYER
The central body introduces Purple as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Black, it separates forms and gives Darkwing a clearer rhythm on the SG 553.
EDGE DETAIL
At the rear section, Blue acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Darkwing from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
