Day Lily does not need every panel to shout; its identity comes from controlled distribution. The composition is anchored by Forest, then broken by Black; that contrast gives the ornamental linework enough depth to stay readable without becoming noisy.

SURFACE FOCUS
Across the front assembly, Forest establishes the strongest read of Day Lily. This is where the ornamental linework feels most concentrated and where the UMP-45 gains its visual anchor.
PATTERN CONTROL
The central body introduces Black as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Forest, it separates forms and gives Day Lily a clearer rhythm on the UMP-45.
QUIET ZONE
At the rear section, Brown acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Day Lily from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
