CURATOR'S NOTE

The UMP-45 gives Grand Prix enough surface variation to turn a simple palette into a real composition. Its palette moves from Forest into Beige instead of treating the whole body as one uninterrupted field. That pacing gives the graphic surface treatment a cleaner, more curated finish.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN FIELD
Across the front assembly, Forest establishes the strongest read of Grand Prix. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the UMP-45 gains its visual anchor.
MID-TONE LINK
The central body introduces Beige as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Forest, it separates forms and gives Grand Prix a clearer rhythm on the UMP-45.
CLOSING DETAIL
At the rear section, Black acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Grand Prix from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
