CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Butterfly Knife as one continuous canvas, Marble Fade uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Red feels intentional, supported by Blue and Yellow. On the Butterfly Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
VISUAL ANCHOR
On the Butterfly Knife, the blade face carries most of the Red; in Marble Fade, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Across the spine and tip, Marble Fade uses Blue to interrupt the main field. On this Butterfly Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
At the handle transition, Marble Fade becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Butterfly Knife's functional geometry.
