CURATOR'S NOTE

The appeal of Night comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the ★ Shadow Daggers. The key is the tension between Black and Blue: one attracts the eye, the other gives the low-sheen coated surface room to register. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

DOMINANT PASSAGE

Across the twin blade faces, Night concentrates most of the Black. This is where the dark tonal blocking reads most clearly and where the ★ Shadow Daggers gains its first visual anchor.

PATTERN CONTROL

The spines and cutting edges introduce Blue as a counterweight. On Night, that shift prevents Black from flattening the design and gives the low-sheen coated surface a more deliberate rhythm.

MATERIAL DEPTH

At the handles and pommels, Grey and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this ★ Shadow Daggers, that role is specific to Night.
