CURATOR'S NOTE
On the ★ Skeleton Knife, Doppler (Phase 1) works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. Its pearlescent colour flow is carried by Purple, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

MAIN GESTURE
Across the blade face, Doppler (Phase 1) concentrates most of the Purple. This is where the pearlescent colour flow reads most clearly and where the ★ Skeleton Knife gains its first visual anchor.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Along the spine and cutting edge, Black creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Purple mass without weakening the finish's overall identity. On this ★ Skeleton Knife, that role is specific to Doppler (Phase 1).
EDGE DETAIL
Near the handle and pommel, the finish steps back. Pink becomes the final accent, allowing the ★ Skeleton Knife's physical construction to close the composition.
