The appeal of Monkeyflage comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the MAC-10. The Beige passages establish the first read, while Brown controls the separation between sections; the illustrative artwork provides the identity. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

DOMINANT PASSAGE
Beige is most assertive on the upper receiver and body, turning that section into the visual anchor of Monkeyflage. The illustrative artwork is easiest to understand here.
PATTERN CONTROL
Along the grip and magazine, Brown creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Beige mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
MATERIAL DEPTH
Near the wire stock and front assembly, the finish steps back. Grey becomes the final accent, allowing the MAC-10's physical construction to close the composition. On this MAC-10, that role is specific to Monkeyflage.
