CURATOR'S NOTE
What makes Heaven Guard convincing is the relationship between colour, material and the MAG-7's underlying geometry. The key is the tension between Blue and Red: one attracts the eye, the other gives the painted and material contrast room to register. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

VISUAL ANCHOR
The receiver shell carry the strongest Blue passage in Heaven Guard. On the MAG-7, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Along the fore-end and grip, Red creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Blue mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
The barrel, rail and rear hardware act as a visual release point: Grey and exposed material reduce the density of Heaven Guard and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
