CURATOR'S NOTE

What gives Tiger Tooth its character is the way surface composition follows the geometry of the Butterfly Knife. Gold carries the first read, then Yellow adds enough contrast to keep the silhouette precise. On the Butterfly Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
On the Butterfly Knife, the blade face carries most of the Gold; in Tiger Tooth, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
COLOUR BREAK
Across the spine and tip, Tiger Tooth uses Yellow to interrupt the main field. On this Butterfly Knife, that break gives the surface composition enough rhythm to stay legible.
MATERIAL EDGE
At the handle transition, Tiger Tooth becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Butterfly Knife's functional geometry.
