CURATOR'S NOTE

Freehand is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Purple leads, White structures the finish, and Black keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the M9 Bayonet, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
VISUAL ANCHOR
On the M9 Bayonet, the main body carries most of the Purple; in Freehand, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Across the secondary panels, Freehand uses White to interrupt the main field. On this M9 Bayonet, that break gives the graphic pattern enough rhythm to stay legible.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
At the grip and hardware, Freehand becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the M9 Bayonet's functional geometry.
