CURATOR'S NOTE
Rather than treating the M9 Bayonet as one continuous canvas, Marble Fade uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Red feels intentional, supported by Blue and Yellow. On the M9 Bayonet, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
On the M9 Bayonet, the main body carries most of the Red; in Marble Fade, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
COLOUR BREAK
Across the secondary panels, Marble Fade uses Blue to interrupt the main field. On this M9 Bayonet, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
MATERIAL EDGE
At the grip and hardware, Marble Fade becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the M9 Bayonet's functional geometry.
