CURATOR'S NOTE

The appeal of Doppler (Sapphire) comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the ★ Shadow Daggers. Its pearlescent colour flow is carried by Blue, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

DOMINANT PASSAGE

Blue is most assertive on the twin blade faces, turning that section into the visual anchor of Doppler (Sapphire). The pearlescent colour flow is easiest to understand here.

PATTERN CONTROL

Along the spines and cutting edges, Black creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Blue mass without weakening the finish's overall identity. On this ★ Shadow Daggers, that role is specific to Doppler (Sapphire).

MATERIAL DEPTH
