CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Slaughter comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the ★ Shadow Daggers. Its red-on-steel abstract pattern is carried by Red, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. The result feels fast and confrontational: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.

COLOUR MASS
Red is most assertive on the twin blade faces, turning that section into the visual anchor of Slaughter. The red-on-steel abstract pattern is easiest to understand here.
SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS
Moving into the spines and cutting edges, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Slaughter readable on the ★ Shadow Daggers.
SILHOUETTE EDGE
The handles and pommels act as a visual release point: the exposed material and exposed material reduce the density of Slaughter and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
