CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Five-SeveN as one continuous canvas, Crimson Blossom uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Red feels intentional, supported by Pink and Black. On the Five-SeveN, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

MAIN GESTURE

On the Five-SeveN, the slide carries most of the Red; in Crimson Blossom, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

QUIETER SUPPORT

Across the frame and controls, Crimson Blossom uses Pink to interrupt the main field. On this Five-SeveN, that break gives the illustrative artwork enough rhythm to stay legible.

FINAL ACCENT

At the grip, Crimson Blossom becomes quieter. Black and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Five-SeveN's functional geometry.
