CURATOR'S NOTE

Stone Cold is built around a clear visual hierarchy: Black leads, Blue structures the finish, and the darker structural parts keeps the composition from collapsing into a single block of colour. On the Galil AR, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

LEAD COLOUR

On the Galil AR, the receiver and handguard carries most of the Black; in Stone Cold, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

PATTERN CONTROL

Across the stock, Stone Cold uses Blue to interrupt the main field. On this Galil AR, that break gives the illustrative artwork enough rhythm to stay legible.

STRUCTURAL FINISH

At the magazine and lower line, Stone Cold becomes quieter. the darker structural parts and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Galil AR's functional geometry.
