What makes Shipping Forecast convincing is the relationship between colour, material and the M249's underlying geometry. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Teal dominate and uses Blue to articulate the M249's major breaks. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.

COLOUR MASS
Across the receiver and upper shroud, Shipping Forecast concentrates most of the Teal. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the M249 gains its first visual anchor.
SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS
The stock and magazine housing introduce Blue as a counterweight. On Shipping Forecast, that shift prevents Teal from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm.
SILHOUETTE EDGE
Near the barrel, bipod and exposed hardware, the finish steps back. Black becomes the final accent, allowing the M249's physical construction to close the composition. On this M249, that role is specific to Shipping Forecast.
