CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Desert Storm comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the M4A4. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets Brown dominate and uses Orange to articulate the M4A4's major breaks. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

SURFACE FOCUS
Across the receiver and handguard, Desert Storm concentrates most of the Brown. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the M4A4 gains its first visual anchor.
STRUCTURAL BREAK
Along the stock and magazine, Orange creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Brown mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
FINAL ACCENT
The barrel assembly and exposed hardware act as a visual release point: Beige and exposed material reduce the density of Desert Storm and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
