CURATOR'S NOTE
What makes Gunsmoke convincing is the relationship between colour, material and the MP7's underlying geometry. Here, Brown supplies the visual weight and Beige gives the surface enough structure for the surface-specific graphic treatment to stay legible. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

MAIN GESTURE
Across the receiver body, Gunsmoke concentrates most of the Brown. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the MP7 gains its first visual anchor.
QUIETER SUPPORT
The foregrip and magazine introduce Beige as a counterweight. On Gunsmoke, that shift prevents Brown from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm.
EDGE DETAIL
At the stock, barrel and controls, Orange and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them.
