CURATOR'S NOTE

What makes Royal Paladin convincing is the relationship between colour, material and the M4A4's underlying geometry. Its ornamental material contrast is carried by Brown, then tempered by Black so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

COLOUR MASS

Brown is most assertive on the receiver and handguard, turning that section into the visual anchor of Royal Paladin. The ornamental material contrast is easiest to understand here.

SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS

Moving into the stock and magazine, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Royal Paladin readable on the M4A4.

SILHOUETTE EDGE

At the barrel assembly and exposed hardware, Grey and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this M4A4, that role is specific to Royal Paladin.
