CURATOR'S NOTE

Acid Hex changes the character of the MAC-10 by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. The Yellow passages establish the first read, while Green controls the separation between sections; the repeating graphic pattern provides the identity. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

COLOUR MASS

The upper receiver and body carry the strongest Yellow passage in Acid Hex. On the MAC-10, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.

SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS

The grip and magazine introduce Green as a counterweight. On Acid Hex, that shift prevents Yellow from flattening the design and gives the printed surface treatment a more deliberate rhythm.

SILHOUETTE EDGE

Near the wire stock and front assembly, the finish steps back. Black becomes the final accent, allowing the MAC-10's physical construction to close the composition. On this MAC-10, that role is specific to Acid Hex.
