CURATOR'S NOTE
Snow Splash changes the character of the MAC-10 by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. Its surface-specific graphic treatment is carried by White, then tempered by Grey so the finish does not collapse into a single block of colour. The result feels balanced and deliberate: recognisable at a glance, but detailed enough to reward a closer look.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN GESTURE
White is most assertive on the upper receiver and body, turning that section into the visual anchor of Snow Splash. The surface-specific graphic treatment is easiest to understand here.
QUIETER SUPPORT
The grip and magazine introduce Grey as a counterweight. On Snow Splash, that shift prevents White from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm.
EDGE DETAIL
The wire stock and front assembly act as a visual release point: Black and exposed material reduce the density of Snow Splash and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
