CURATOR'S NOTE
Ultraviolet is strongest when you read it as a composition rather than a colour sample. The key is the tension between Purple and Black: one attracts the eye, the other gives the matte black and purple coating room to register. Because the visual weight is controlled, the finish remains easy to place inside a curated loadout.

VISUAL ANCHOR
The upper receiver and body carry the strongest Purple passage in Ultraviolet. On the MAC-10, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
COLOUR TRANSITION
Moving into the grip and magazine, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Ultraviolet readable on the MAC-10.
HARDWARE CONTRAST
The wire stock and front assembly act as a visual release point: the exposed material and exposed material reduce the density of Ultraviolet and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
