On the MAC-10, Candy Apple works through hierarchy: one visual idea leads, the rest supports it. The key is the tension between Red and Black: one attracts the eye, the other gives the painted and material contrast room to register. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

COLOUR MASS
Red is most assertive on the upper receiver and body, turning that section into the visual anchor of Candy Apple. The surface-specific graphic treatment is easiest to understand here.
SMALLER INTERRUPTIONS
The grip and magazine introduce Black as a counterweight. On Candy Apple, that shift prevents Red from flattening the design and gives the painted and material contrast a more deliberate rhythm.
SILHOUETTE EDGE
The wire stock and front assembly act as a visual release point: the exposed material and exposed material reduce the density of Candy Apple and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
