CURATOR'S NOTE
Snow Splash changes the character of the MP5-SD by treating its silhouette as part of the graphic design. Rather than spreading every colour evenly, the finish lets White dominate and uses Black to articulate the MP5-SD's major breaks. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
Across the receiver and suppressor, Snow Splash concentrates most of the White. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the MP5-SD gains its first visual anchor.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Moving into the handguard and magazine, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Snow Splash readable on the MP5-SD.
MATERIAL BREAK
The stock and smaller controls act as a visual release point: Grey and exposed material reduce the density of Snow Splash and sharpen the boundary between finish and hardware.
