CURATOR'S NOTE

What gives Red Quartz its character is the way the finish changes the proportions of the Nova. Red carries the first read, while Grey gives the surface its structure. The result is a repeating geometric structure that feels intentional on this silhouette rather than pasted across it.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
VISUAL ANCHOR
Across the front assembly, Red establishes the strongest read of Red Quartz. This is where the repeating geometric structure feels most concentrated and where the Nova gains its visual anchor.
SECONDARY LAYER
The central body introduces Grey as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Red, it separates forms and gives Red Quartz a clearer rhythm on the Nova.
EDGE DETAIL
At the rear section, Black acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Red Quartz from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break. On Nova | Red Quartz, this closing zone is especially important to the way the finish resolves.
