CURATOR'S NOTE

The SSG 08 gives Threat Detected enough surface variation to turn a simple palette into a real composition. The composition is anchored by Black, then broken by Forest; that contrast gives the graphic surface treatment enough depth to stay readable without becoming noisy.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

MAIN FIELD

Across the front assembly, Black establishes the strongest read of Threat Detected. This is where the graphic surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the SSG 08 gains its visual anchor.

MID-TONE LINK

The central body introduces Forest as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Black, it separates forms and gives Threat Detected a clearer rhythm on the SSG 08.

CLOSING DETAIL

At the rear section, Orange acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Threat Detected from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
