CURATOR'S NOTE

The appeal of Doppler (Phase 3) comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the ★ Talon Knife. The key is the tension between Blue and Black: one attracts the eye, the other gives the polished, gem-like blade surface room to register. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

DOMINANT PASSAGE

Blue is most assertive on the blade face, turning that section into the visual anchor of Doppler (Phase 3). The pearlescent colour flow is easiest to understand here. On this ★ Talon Knife, that role is specific to Doppler (Phase 3).

PATTERN CONTROL

Moving into the spine and cutting edge, Black interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Doppler (Phase 3) readable on the ★ Talon Knife.

MATERIAL DEPTH

At the handle and pommel, Teal and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them. On this ★ Talon Knife, that role is specific to Doppler (Phase 3).
