CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Five-SeveN as one continuous canvas, Capillary uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Black feels intentional, supported by Grey and Red. On the Five-SeveN, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.

DETAILS / CLOSE-UP

VISUAL ANCHOR

On the Five-SeveN, the slide carries most of the Black; in Capillary, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.

SECONDARY RHYTHM

Across the frame and controls, Capillary uses Grey to interrupt the main field. On this Five-SeveN, that break gives the illustrative artwork enough rhythm to stay legible.

HARDWARE CONTRAST

At the grip, Capillary becomes quieter. Red and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Five-SeveN's functional geometry.
