CURATOR'S NOTE
The appeal of Tornado comes from how deliberately its surface treatment is distributed across the MAC-10. The Blue passages establish the first read, while Beige controls the separation between sections; the surface-specific graphic treatment provides the identity. Nothing needs to be exaggerated; the palette and surface treatment already create a strong visual signature.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
PRIMARY FIELD
Across the upper receiver and body, Tornado concentrates most of the Blue. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the MAC-10 gains its first visual anchor.
SECONDARY RHYTHM
Along the grip and magazine, Beige creates the second layer of the composition. It breaks the Blue mass without weakening the finish's overall identity.
MATERIAL BREAK
Near the wire stock and front assembly, the finish steps back. Brown becomes the final accent, allowing the MAC-10's physical construction to close the composition. On this MAC-10, that role is specific to Tornado.
