CURATOR'S NOTE

Rather than treating the Navaja Knife as one continuous canvas, Fade uses its separate surfaces deliberately. The result is a finish where Pink feels intentional, supported by Purple and Yellow. On the Navaja Knife, that balance follows this specific finish treatment especially well.
DETAILS / CLOSE-UP
MAIN GESTURE
On the Navaja Knife, the blade face carries most of the Pink; in Fade, this becomes the first area the eye reads and the clearest expression of the finish.
QUIETER SUPPORT
Across the spine and tip, Fade uses Purple to interrupt the main field. On this Navaja Knife, that break gives the colour-shifting surface treatment enough rhythm to stay legible.
FINAL ACCENT
At the handle transition, Fade becomes quieter. Yellow and the underlying material define the boundary between painted surface and the Navaja Knife's functional geometry.
