The SG 553 gives Ol' Rusty enough surface variation to turn a simple palette into a real composition. Its palette moves from Brown into Black instead of treating the whole body as one uninterrupted field. That pacing gives the material-led surface treatment a cleaner, more curated finish.

MAIN FIELD
Across the front assembly, Brown establishes the strongest read of Ol' Rusty. This is where the material-led surface treatment feels most concentrated and where the SG 553 gains its visual anchor.
MID-TONE LINK
The central body introduces Black as a structural counterweight. Rather than competing with Brown, it separates forms and gives Ol' Rusty a clearer rhythm on the SG 553.
CLOSING DETAIL
At the rear section, Grey acts as the release point. That quieter transition keeps Ol' Rusty from becoming visually uniform and closes the composition with a distinct material break.
