CURATOR'S NOTE

Saibā Oni gives the MAC-10 a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. The key is the tension between Black and Pink: one attracts the eye, the other gives the painted and material contrast room to register. That balance keeps the finish coherent from first read to close-up inspection.

VISUAL ANCHOR

Across the upper receiver and body, Saibā Oni concentrates most of the Black. This is where the surface-specific graphic treatment reads most clearly and where the MAC-10 gains its first visual anchor.

COLOUR TRANSITION

Moving into the grip and magazine, Pink interrupts the main field just enough to separate the surfaces. That pacing is what keeps Saibā Oni readable on the MAC-10.

HARDWARE CONTRAST

At the wire stock and front assembly, Red and the underlying construction become more visible. The quieter treatment frames the painted areas instead of competing with them.
