CURATOR'S NOTE

Case Hardened gives the ★ Stiletto Knife a clear identity without needing every section to compete for attention. The key is the tension between Blue and Gold: one attracts the eye, the other gives the hardened steel room to register. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

PRIMARY FIELD

Across the blade face, Case Hardened concentrates most of the Blue. This is where the heat-treated colour mottling reads most clearly and where the ★ Stiletto Knife gains its first visual anchor.

SECONDARY RHYTHM

The spine and cutting edge introduce Gold as a counterweight. On Case Hardened, that shift prevents Blue from flattening the design and gives the hardened steel a more deliberate rhythm. On this ★ Stiletto Knife, that role is specific to Case Hardened.

MATERIAL BREAK
