What makes Rust Coat convincing is the relationship between colour, material and the ★ Shadow Daggers's underlying geometry. Here, Brown supplies the visual weight and Orange gives the surface enough structure for the oxidized patina to stay legible. It is the restraint between those elements—not sheer saturation—that gives the finish its character.

The twin blade faces carry the strongest Brown passage in Rust Coat. On the ★ Shadow Daggers, that concentration gives the finish a clear centre of gravity before the eye moves outward.
